For al la carte registration for seminars from Sensei Hirayama from October 25th-26th, 2025 use this portal.
JKA NorCal is proud to bring Sensei Yuko Hirayama, 7th Dan from JKA World Headquarters to California for the first time. The seminars will demonstrate the the highest level of shotokan karate through kihon, kata, and kumite. We look forward to holding 6 sessions over two days, including an early morning open mat at JKA NorCal hosted by several members of the JKA-USA national team. Following this we will hold 5 sessions with Sensei Hirayama at the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Northern California in San Francisco’s beautiful Japantown.

Saturday October 25th:
7:00 – 9:00 am – Open Mat with JKA-USA Team members (JKA NorCal)
12:00 – 1:00 pm – Session 1 with Sensei Hirayama (JCCCNC)
1:30 – 2:30 pm – Session 2 with Sensei Hirayama (JCCCNC)
3:00 – 4:00 pm – Session 3 with Sensei Hirayama (JCCCNC)
Sunday October 26th:
10:00 – 11:30 am – Session 4 with Sensei Hirayama (JCCCNC)
2:30 – 4:00 pm – Session 5 with Sensei Hirayama – Competitor Focused Training (JCCCNC)
Registration for Saturday Sessions – $50/class
Registration for Sunday Sessions – $75/class
